Event #10 -Hestia Rooftop- July 24, 2025

This was the signature event for The Monarch’s Dinner Social Club for sure… the event to end all events! But don’t worry, this group is just getting started. This was our TENTH event and it was a showstopper.

The Hestia Rooftop restaurant, which features Asian fusion / seafood & sushi cuisine, offers the most stunning views of Charlotte I’ve ever seen without being on a plane. I would have not been surprised if the food could not match up to the view, but it turns out that the cuisine may have even exceeded the quality of the view! Both were simply breathtaking!

It may be a surprise, but this was a personal achievement for me… This was the first time I’ve ever spent over $100 for food just for myself… and it was worth every penny!

All of the attending members raved about every aspect of this evening. The marvelous food ranged from beautifully prepared sea bass on a bed of black rice, intensely flavorful miso scallops, expertly crafted sushi, and oh… the fingerling potatoes and the beautiful chocolate dessert! Guests also had their exquisite cocktails and I had my perfect mocktail.

There were new members who joined us last night… and it’s always a joy to welcome and meet new Charlotteans in my group.

We had a beautiful table near the sushi chef station, and we had the best server we could ever have. Thanks Amanda! She and her serving partner even have their own Instagram page, which was certainly different! (Instagram: teamtwo704) They handled all of our requests and questions with amazing precision and courtesy.

Special shout-out to the manager, Meghann too for accommodating our special requests as well!

This was such a stunningly amazing evening that I want to bring the group here every week(!), but of course it’s always best when you leave something this fantastic for a rare and special treat!
