Event #17 - Coquette - October 23, 2025
Another sensational event for the Monarch’s Table Dinner Club! It’s mind-blowing how well the flavors and presentation come together at this wonderful French restaurant in Uptown.
We had a smaller group than typical last night, but it shouldn’t have been…. because this is one of the best places to dine in town.
The group started with the delectable tarte aux champignons (mushroom tart), the croissants aux escargots, and the foie gras, which were shared and enjoyed. Some of the amazing thoroughly-French entrées the group partook of were the agneau roti (roasted lamb), the truite de montagne (trout with leeks), and the poulet grand-mère (chicken roulade with wild mushrooms). I ordered a show-stopping meal: the cassoulet de canard (duck confit with cannellini beans and pork belly sausage), which was one of the most exquisitely flavorful meals I’ve ever tasted. The duck literally fell off the bone with every bite. (Pictures shown below!)
The quality of this restaurant’s fare is simply stunning. I would say this place probably deserves a Michelin award!
After sampling so many delicious savory items, we nearly unanimously decided that we had to top it off with desserts. We ordered the apple tarte tatin (apple tart), the chocolate soufflé, and the crème brûlée, All were sensational!
The restaurant is simply beautiful inside. And the service we received was top-notch.
