Event #19 - Catalina Kitchen - November 13, 2025
What a night for the Monarch’s Table Dinner Club at Catalina Kitchen & Bar in Elizabeth! It’s safe to say this venue was beloved by all! We again had two lively tables of eager attendees.
The cuisine started with several amazing appetizers – the whipped burrata cheese served with Rustic Italian bread… the unusual, but tasty deconstructed deviled eggs, the meatballs with savory polenta, the tomato bisque, and the yummy crispy Brussels sprouts.
Several of us ordered the seafood tagliatelle in a buttery sauce, but other entrées ordered were the skillet lasagna, the short rib pappardelle, the lobster/shrimp roll, and the lobster risotto. A couple of satisfying crème brulées were ordered for dessert.
Everyone was very pleased with the magnificent food and the service by both servers.
This is such a beautiful comfy restaurant in a location surrounded by other well-known Charlotte restaurants. This night, the restaurant was packed with many other joyful diners. One of our tables was in a partially private enclosed room and the other table was a booth out in the main area. Both were perfect for both segments of our group.
