This charming restaurant opened in 2020 and is housed in an old mill home in the hip NoDa neighborhood. The chef and owner Chris Coleman won the Food Network’s Chopped during one season, and the restaurant serves some of his novel culinary ideas here. It’s unique in that it offers brunch on the weekend, and on Fridays too… I guess there is a pent-up demand for Friday brunch after all! I love restaurants that serve a unique treat, and Goodyear serves a shaken fry bag. (Maybe there was a pent-up demand for that too!) I love that they call their burger the “Goopy Burger”. They have a smoked cashew mac and cheese as well… also very intriguing! This is one of the top spots in the NoDa neighborhood.
