Event #5 - Matador - May 22, 2025

This was an amazing evening at Matador in South End, Charlotte with the Monarch’s List Dinner Social Club! It was the most successful night yet… the greatest turnout we’ve ever had… which may have been partially due to the impeccably perfect weather. We were seated out on their beautiful patio… just having a great time socializing and laughing and eating. Which brings us to the fact that the food was awesome too. I was needing some Mexican in my life and this hit the spot. My tacos were the perfect blend of flavor-packed and soft, yet crispy. And they had the best salsa I’ve had in a long time! (And the chips and salsa are always how you judge a Mexican place… amirite?!) I will be coming back here on one of my solo restaurant visits probably! But overall, the setting, the weather, the food, and the camaraderie were all on point at Matador this evening!
