Event #6- Legion Brewing-(Morehead)-June 12, 2025

The Monarch’s List Dinner Social Club had another great time tonight! This time we were at Legion Brewery – Morehead location in the Wesley Hgts area of Charlotte! This place has one of the best menus around, which is surprising because it’s a brewery! I kind of chose a bad night to have my first casual event (no reservations) because 1) it turned out to be Trivia night, so it was packed (I should have checked)… And 2) it was raining really bad, so everyone was packed inside instead of like normal when people could be seated inside and outside. At first, there was only room at the bar, but the manager was so amazingly courteous, that as soon as a table miraculously opened up, he made sure we were seated at a table for 6! Kudos to him and the whole restaurant!

The weather also limited participation, so we had a small group, but it was all good. The conversation was great and of course the food was fantastic! I love this place so much that I ordered two entrees. The Italian Grilled Chicken Focaccia sandwich was delicious and it was huge! I only ate half of it, which was the size of a full sandwich at other places. I also ordered my old stand-by, the Wise Guy pizza, and I only ate two slices……………………………….
