Event #14 - Dressler’s - September 11, 2025
It just keeps getting better! This week, we went to Dressler’s… one of the best restaurants that the Monarch’s Table Dinner Club has visited to date! This is a beautiful white-tablecloth venue with floor-to-ceiling windows with views a courtyard overlooking a lush urgan greenway trail. This place definitely knows how to craft perfectly delicious Southern-inspired cuisine.
This restaurant exceeded my expectations by a mile. Their menu features numerous “shareable” sides, and boy, shareable is an understatement! Once several of our members ordered various sides for the table, it looked like a veritable buffet of deluxe cuisine! (See pictures of the table below.) The portions were so HUGE that no one was able to finish it all!
Some of the main entrées that the group ordered were: the crispy salmon, the braised short rib, the swordfish, the Porterhouse pork chop, the seafood linguini, and a gourmet burger. Some the sides and appetizers ordered were: the hand-cut French fries, sauteed broccolini, mac & cheese, brussels sprouts, sweet potato & duck confit hash, pimento cheese, and the low country crab dip. All were extremely high-quality!
The service was also fantastic, and I thank the server, Beth, for being courteous, attentive, and catering to our every request.
Another personal achievement for the group …. This event tied for being the best attended event… Only one no-show! I guess everybody was excited to try this grand place as much as I was! We all enjoyed each other’s company immensely. We have grown into a community of foodies who have gotten to know each fairly well, and we have developed a rapport with each other! One person even suggested we take a foodie adventure trip to Charleston in the future!
But back to the restaurant at hand… Thank you, Dressler’s! You are top-notch!... and very satisfying!
