Event #21 - Leluia Hall - December 11, 2025
This was another successful event for the Monarch’s Table Dinner Club! Tonight we visited Leluia Hall, a place that is beautiful inside and out. It is housed in an old church which was formerly known as the Atherton Methodist Church, and later the Dilworth Methodist Episcopal Church. It was the first permanent church in the new Dilworth suburb before it was annexed into the city of Charlotte.
I had to limit this event to strictly only eight people, but it made for a nice entertaining social evening with some of the core Monarchs!
Some of the awesome treats we indulged in tonight were the saffron honey chicken, the crispy aged rice, and the amazing masa & cheese, which were by far my favorite dishes of the night. Also ordered were the grilled scallops, the tamale entrée, and the sugar steak.
We had a great server which made the night go so smoothly for us in every way.
