Event #22 - The Fig Tree - December 18, 2025
This was stellar event where people were clamoring for a spot at the Monarch’s Table for this fine restaurant. Tonight we dined at the highly renowned “The Fig Tree”. Their location is convenient and beautiful, located inside the “Lucas House”, an old early 1900’s bungalow in the Elizabeth neighborhood. What’s more, it’s situated right across from the beautiful, green Independence Park.
I had to limit this event to strictly only eight people again, but there were several extra attendees who, although they didn’t have a place at the table, they were so eager to try this place that they agreed to dine at bar.
Only dinner is served here, but the protein options are eclectic and impressive, ranging from scallops to elk to lamb to steak. All entrées are served with well-suited sides. They provide a separate dessert menu with several tempting options.
The waitstaff were polite and courteous. When I didn’t enjoy the elk so much, they instead on offering a replacement meal!
